Vendor & Sponsor Details

We learned a lot about what we can do to make things easier for our vendors and sponsors. One of those lessons we learned was ease of access to information. So we've decided to put everything here in a easy to digest format for everyone to see.

How big is the event and where is it located?

The event is located in the Hamburg Fairgrounds, we're looking at 20,000 sq. ft. for our first show.

How many attendees are you expecting?

That's always a tough answer to give, but we're hoping for 1000 attendees per day for this show.

Per day? So this is a multi-day show?

Yes, Buffalo Games Con is now a 2-day show! This was one of the largest concerns brought up for the first show we attempted. We've heard all of you loud and clear and made decisions to push in that direction.

What do you have for events?

Currently, we are planning to have several card game tournaments, video game tournaments, a cosplay competition, silent auction, a free play area, guest star Q&A's, in event games and much more that we're working on! There's more below.

That seems like a lot of work, who do you have helping you?

Not only do we have an excellent volunteer staff we're bringing together, but we're also listening to those who have attended conventions before and adjusting parts of our own convention to make it the best we can.

What happened to the first show in 2024?

One of the issues that we encountered was that our show simply wasn't large enough for many of our vendors, after careful consideration, we decided to move forward with the decision to postpone everything to the following year, where we would have a much better location that would suit our needs and our vendor's needs.

The overwhelming support we received from our vendors, sponsors, contacts and followers let us know that we made the correct decision. We want Buffalo Games Con to be the best it can be, and grow to unparalleled heights.

What time do I set up?

But the setup time is starting as early as 7am on Saturday if you feel inclined to try and set everything up perfectly day of the event.

We're also available to help here and there if you need an extra hand, we're a small team though, so don't expect us to set up for you!

Is The Vendor Program Coming Back?

Yes, we are currently working on a system like last time to have a 'Vendor Rewards Program' that encourages attendees to visit "All" of our awesome vendors and get cool rewards for doing so.

Our Vendors and Sponsors can also compete for votes by attendees for various categories and earn a prize themselves.

By doing all of this, we hope to really encourage the interactions between our attendees and our vendors, garnering lasting relations throughout our community more than just transactions.

In addition to all of this, we are still planning on having a networking hour late in the convention for all of our vendors to talk and share ideas, network with other vendors, exchange business cards and more.

(We'll have more specific information in just a few weeks on all of this.)
